The storage of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells enables the researcher to perform experiments over a larger time period as well as save cells that delivered experimental success.
The FastGene® Screw Cap Tubes were developed to tolerate very low and very high temeperatures. The special sealing ring (O-ring) is made of silicon rubber and enables a perfect seal of each tube.

##### Perfect Design – Japanese Precision

The FastGene® Screw Cap Tubes were designed to accomodated different volumes. The large tubes are able to store [2 mL](https://www.nippongenetics.eu/en/products/laboratory-plastic/storage/screw-cap-tubes/2-ml-fastgene-screw-cap-tubes-neutral-20x25-tubes/), while the small tubes can handle a volume of [0.5 mL](https://www.nippongenetics.eu/en/products/laboratory-plastic/storage/screw-cap-tubes/05-ml-fastgene-screw-cap-tubes-neutral-20x25-tubes/).

Both versions of the FastGene® Screw Cap Tubes have a perfect convex inlay that enables FastGene® 2-D barcode insert to be introduced. The barcode insert has a diameter of 0.88 cm.
